TRADE: EU-US Conclude 2nd Round of Talks Over World’s Largest Free Trade Accord

On 11 November, the United States (US) and the European Union (EU) launched the second round of negotiations on potentially the biggest free trade agreement in history – the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). The two negotiating teams were led by EU Chief Negotiator Ignacio Garcia Bercero and US Assistant Trade Representative for Europe and the Middle East Daniel Mullaney. The talks will continue 16 December in Washington D.C.
