Sabor to Vote on New Government on 22 January
On 14 January, Sabor President Zeljko Reiner announced that the first regular Sabor session would take place on 22 January. The Sabor will appoint its committees and Prime Minister (PM)-designate Tihomir Oreskovic will present the new government and its programme.
As explained by Reiner, the Sabor will first appoint the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee, after which that committee will propose other committees, their chairpersons and formation.
“PM-designate Oreskovic will then address the Sabor and present the new government, followed by a discussion and a vote of confidence in the government,” stated Reiner.
