PRIVATISATION: Government Seeks Strategic Partner for Fertiliser Producer Petrokemija

At its cabinet session held on 30 July, the government decided to give approval to the Agency for State Property Management Office (DUUDI) to acquire shares of the Croatian fertiliser company, Petrokemija, located in the town of Kutina. DUUDI will participate in the increase of share capital of the company through a public offer to existing shareholders (published on 18 July) by offering subscription and payment of a maximum of 436,002 shares at a price ranging from €22.61 to €30.33 per share.

The government also instructed the competent authorities to initiate the process of selecting a strategic partner for Petrokemija in such a way so that the state would retain ownership of at least 25% +1 share of the company…
