Damir Vandjelic: President-nominee, Supervisory Board of INA

On 8 June, the government nominated Damir Vandjelic, Director for Investments at the tourism and insurance Adris Group, as President of the Supervisory Board of the national oil and gas company INA, pending approval by the company’s Assembly. Luka Burilovic (HDZ) and Dario Cehic (MOST) were also nominated as Supervisory Board Members. The three nominees will replace Sinisa Petrovic, Zeljko Peric and Mladen Prosetnik. The board has nine members: three members are proposed by the Croa­tian government and five by INA’s largest shareholder (i.e. the Hungarian oil and gas company MOL), and one by the workers’ council. Vandjelic is a prominent executive in Croatia. After obtaining a degree in Engi­neering, the 48-year-old Vandjelic worked for Pliva, InBev and Adris Group…
