NAUTICAL TOURISM: Turkish Dogus Group Buys Shares in ACI Marina

In December 2012, Turkish marina operator Dogus purchased 7,685 shares or 6.9% from Varazdin businessman Davor Patafta of the state-owned and largest Croatian marina network, ACI Marina.  The transaction is valued at €3.3 million.

The Dogus group is presently the second largest marina operator in Croatia.  Last week, Dogus Group also purchased 51% shares in the largest Greek operator MedMarinas.  These transactions place Dogus in a dominant position in the marina sector in Adriatic and Southeast Mediterranean regions…
