Mladen Antunovic, CEO, LNG CroatiaLPJ Issue 149, 21 September 2015

On 15 September, the state-owned LNG Croatia opened their virtual data room; on 21 July, they issued a call for equity, which was essentially a call for investors in the construction of the LNG terminal on the Island of Krk, valued at €600 million. The companies meeting the criteria were admitted to the data room. It was initially supposed to open on 1 September, but the company decided to extend the deadline because of an increased investor interest.

LNG Croatia said that they had received a total of 14 offers, half of which passed the pre-qualification process, while seven were still being processed. The data room includes the Request for Proposal and the relevant draft agreements and documentation on the terminal and LNG Croatia.

The deadline for investment proposals is 15 December (see LPJ 143).
