Government to Adopt Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)

During the last cabinet session, the technical government decided to proceed with arrangements towards the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and European Union member states. This agreement belongs to a group of modern and wide-ranging agreements that are in accordance with World Trade Organization. CETA covers the progressive and correlative liberalization of the trade of  goods and services. The agreement also includes the protection of investments, trade mechanisms, tariffs and other means of controlling goods and services.
