GOVERNMENT: HPB Re-capitalisation
The government made a decision on the recapitalisation of the state-owned Croatian Postal Bank (HPB), valued at €32.1 million, securing that amount in the revised state budget. Private investors will re-capitalise the bank with €40 million.
The re-capitalisation will be carried out, because the HPB fell below the legally permitted capital adequacy ratio.
The state re-capitalisation was approved by the European Commission.
