GOVERNMENT: Action Plan for Reducing Administrative Burden on Economy
The government adopted the Action Plan for Reducing Administrative Burden on the Economy. The plan includes a 20% cut in trade and real estate mediation by the end of the year, as part of the national reform programme aimed at shortening administrative procedures and reducing costs.
It will reduce para-fiscal levies by €39.7 million this year, as well as in 2016. The government also plans to cut administrative burdens in six other areas: starting a business, construction, renewable energy resources, and work safety, including sanitary and health conditions.
