GOVERNMENT: 2015 Motorways and State Roads Construction and Maintenance Plan

The government gave approval to the Croatian Motorways (HAC) company for their plan for the construction and maintenance of motorways in 2015, totalling €98 million. The funds will be used to continue the construction of motorway A5 (i.e. Beli Manastir-Osijek-BH border) (Drava bridge construction, construction of the Sava bridge, construction of the full-profile interchange Osijek-Drava bridge and the first phase of the Drava Bridge–Beli Manastir section); motorway A11 (Zagreb-Sisak (opening of the sections Jakusevac-Velika Gorica and Busevec-Lekenik); motorway A3 (Bregana-Zagreb-Lipovac) (start of construction of Lipovljani interchange).

The government also adopted the state roads construction and maintenance plan for 2015, totalling €228 million. In addition to the maintenance of existing roads, the funds will be used on 20 capital projects that are planned to be co-financed from EU Funds.
