DUUDI Receives 2 Non-Binding Bids for Muzil Tourism Project
The State Property Management Administration (DUUDI) announced on 10 February that they have received two non-binding bids for the Muzil Development Project on the Peninsula of Muzil near Pula (the Istria County) from Bouygues Batiment International (France) and Forbes Real Estate LLC (US).
The DUUDI issued the invitation for expressions of interest for the Muzil project on 6 November 2015. The tourism portion of the investment is estimated at €150 million – €200 million and includes the construction of tourist accommodations, a beach complex, golf course, marina, and a cultural and congress centre. The winning bidder will be awarded a 99-year concession.
