AZOP: Decision on Excluding Data from Assets Declarations
The AZOP issued a decision instructing the State Conflict of Interest Commission to exclude portions of officials’ personal data from their publicly available assets declarations. The agency’s decision applies to personal information, such as marital status, number of children and data on loans granted before the start of their term of office. Due to the deadline of 8 days, the commission has been unable to comply with the AZOP’s decision and modify the data of approximately 15,000 declarations.
Therefore, the agency chose to remove the data from the internet. The government responded with a proposal to the Sabor for the dismissal of Ante Rajkovaca, Director of the agency and Deputy Director Dubravka Dolenc.
